Lightsense Australia Pty Ltd ("Lightsense" or "LSA") was incorporated in November 2007 to address the immediate commercial opportunity identified in the supply and installation of high quality low emission LED lighting.
The Company distributes, installs and consults on a range of high power LED Street and park lights. LSA's lights have NATA (Australian road standards) certification and are amongst only a few LED products of their type to be distributed within Australia. The "I" tables are available in both CIE and IES format for the Australian Road Standards. The approvals include NATA, CE, UL and RoHS.
Lightsense products meet all criteria in reducing Greenhouse gas emissions including but not limited to Zero Ultra Violet, Zero Lead, Zero Mercury, up to 65% less energy to operate compared to its Gas discharge competitors and up to 10 times the operational life, dramatically reducing high maintenance costs through failing ballasts, ignitors and lamps.
Over the past 3 years we have established strong relationships with city councils, body corporates and governmental departments.
Following effectively 15 months of trial installations Australia wide; commercial sales commenced in late 2008.
Our clients include both Government and Private Sector organisations such as:

- BHP Billiton
The group has more recently diversified into household, commercial and remote location LED lighting.
